Bobbi Kristina Brown’s court-appointed conservator initially filed suit against her companion Nick Gordon in June, while Bobbi Kristina remained hospitalized. The suit was amended after Bobbi Kristina died, detailing a slew of new claims.
Nick Gordon’s legal team has now responded seeking a dismissal on numerous grounds – namely that the suit against him lists damning allegations but no police reports, affidavits or other backing evidence.
Bobbi Kristina died at age 22 on July 26, following months of hospitalization. An initial autopsy showed no obvious cause of death.

Nick’s legal team also filed a response denying each of the claims spelled out in the suit, which had sought at least $10 million. No criminal charges have been filed in the case.
It’s not the first time Nick’s legal team has pushed back.
“The recent lawsuit against Nick is slanderous and meritless,” his representatives said in a statement last month. “Nick has been heartbroken and destroyed over the loss of his love and it’s shameful that such baseless allegations have been presented publicly. Nick has engaged civil counsel and intends to defend the lawsuit vigorously and expose it for what it is: a fictitious assault against the person who loved Krissy most.”
Bobbi Kristina was buried next to her mother, the late Whitney Houston, after memorial services here and in New Jersey. Nick did not attend but his mother issued a statement at the time saying he was devastated.
